A two-part staged reading of the story of Lazarus of the Scriptures. Lazarus, the four-day friend of Jesus, is summoned after his resurrection to fulfill the expectation, to reveal the power of God, the power of the son of God. Lazaretti were quarantine stations, leper colonies, prisons, and the reason for their existence was singular: the isolation and quarantine of the ill or those considered ill - of health, or aesthetics - until recovery or eternal rest.
