Silenced
based on a sketch of Medea 2010 - 2011
"Come closed / and consider how much you love / you melt night and day / words express nothing"
Nikos Karouzos
Ιn the performance, Medea appears beyond the myth, after the crime. In a moment of compulsory apology, memories are confused. Heiner Müller treats Medea not as the killer of her children, but connects her with betrayal and revolution. Still, all that is left is silence.
