A theatre production by actor Elena Agathokleous and musician Demetris Spyrou, with excerpts from Alexandros Papadiamantis’ The Murderess, and Nikos Kazantzakis’ Ascesis: The Saviors of God (Ασκητική: Salvatores Dei). By drowning girls, but eventually repeating cycles of blood and gender, Papadiamantis’
Frangoyiannou attempts to change woman’s fate. Ascesis, on the other hand, speaks of personal debt and the right to choice.
