LAIMARGA [24hour shot – literature]

The performance is based on the book LAIMARGA, a collective work of poetry, prose and surrealistic writing with the participation of ten Cypriot writers and poets (Aktis Publications, 2019). It is a series of small stories, where greed in its literal and metaphorical sense takes the form of illness, oppressed sexual desire, necessity of human contact and communication in an environment of isolation in modern society. The performers combine the heterogeneous elements and feelings of LAIMARGA’s heroes, giving their own interpretation of the work.
